Landlord and Landlady Kevin and Maria would like to welcome you to The Crown at Little Staughton.  they have been running The Crown since 2000. The Crown is a real country pub that is popular with locals and visitors alike.

The Crown is the only pub left in Little Staughton now. The original building which dated back to the 17th century, was burned down in the 1970's and rebuilt.

Our food is very popular, especially our fish. We buy our produce daily depending on what is available at the markets, from the farms & what has been caught, foraged, shot or hunted. All our fish comes fresh from Billingsgate market and we buy local vegetables when they are in season. We believe all of this gives us some of the freshest & best quality ingredients available. We then prepare it simply and cook it only when you order, it takes time, effort & patience but we believe it is worth it.

We take our drink seriously as well, offering a fine selection of real ales which are very well kept along with lagers,  scrumpy cider and Guinness  Guest beers are added when available and we have a range of wines by the glass or bottle and a selection of premium spirits. Throughout the year we make some seasonal treats such as mulled wine.

In our garden you will find a childrens play area, a large petanque court and a hard standing area which, in the warmer months acts as the base for a large marquee which can be hired for a special occasion such as a big birthday bash, christening or a wedding celebration.  

We also hold specially themed events such as Hog Roasts or Piella Nights which are very popular. Hog Roasts are available on a delivery basis as well. So if you planning a large party or an event at your sports club why not take the stress out of the food prepartion and have us deliver a hog roast to your door.
